Taking NQ-02, a specialized landfill leachate treatment agent, as an example, it is a cationic organic polymer compound that integrates multiple functions—including decolorization, flocculation, and COD degradation—into one product. It appears as a light-colored or colorless viscous liquid, with a viscosity (at 20°C) of 3–5 seconds and a pH value (of a 30% aqueous solution) ranging from 3 to 6. Its solid content exceeds 45%. The active functional groups in this product chemically react with anionic groups in landfill leachate—such as organic acids and carboxyl groups—to form water-insoluble substances that precipitate out of the solution. This agent achieves a COD removal efficiency of 50% to 85% for landfill leachate.
