Landfill leachate decolorizing agent is a highly effective solution for treating landfill leachate. It offers high decolorization efficiency, rapidly reacting with various chromophoric substances in the leachate to significantly reduce color intensity and clarify the water. With strong flocculation capabilities, it promotes the aggregation of fine suspended solids and colloids into larger particles that readily settle, facilitating subsequent solid-liquid separation. Chemically stable, it remains active even under the complex and variable pH conditions and high salinity typical of landfill leachate. Its broad applicability ensures excellent performance across leachates of different origins and compositions. Moreover, it is easy to use and simple to operate—simply adding the agent effectively improves the visual appearance and overall quality of the leachate, thereby reducing the difficulty of downstream treatment processes.
Product Introduction:
Landfill leachate decolorizing agent is an organic polymeric blend, classified as a flocculating and decolorizing water treatment chemical. It appears as a colorless, transparent, viscous liquid or as a white powder in solid form. The agent works by blocking the hydrophilic groups of dyes, thereby reducing their hydration, and delivers dual functions of flocculation and precipitation.
This decolorizing agent is primarily used to treat landfill leachate wastewater containing high concentrations of organic matter, heavy metal ions, and color. Through the mechanism of flocculation and sedimentation, it rapidly aggregates organic substances and suspended solids in the wastewater into flocs that settle out, thereby achieving effective decolorization and pollutant removal. Upon addition to the wastewater, its polymeric chains quickly adsorb organic matter, suspended solids, and other impurities, forming flocs.
Product Advantages:
Excellent decolorization and pollutant removal performance: It effectively removes various soluble dyes—including reactive, acid, disperse dyes, and structurally similar dye intermediates—as well as COD, achieving a decolorization efficiency of over 95% and COD removal rates ranging from 40% to 70%. Certain formulations demonstrate exceptional decolorization, with removal efficiencies exceeding 98%, and also exhibit high removal rates for COD, suspended solids (SS), and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD).
Easy to use: It is readily soluble in water and can be directly added to wastewater. For certain products, simply dilute with 10–40 times their volume of water, add the solution directly to the wastewater, stir for a few minutes, and then allow sedimentation or perform flotation to obtain clarified, decolorized effluent.
Environmentally friendly: causes no secondary pollution.
Low cost: It offers low operational expenses and can significantly reduce the overall cost of landfill waste treatment.
Service Industries:
Waste management industry: Primarily used for treating leachate wastewater generated from landfill sites, waste transfer stations, and similar facilities.
Other industries: It can also be used for treating wastewater from various sectors, including textile, dyeing, ink, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemical manufacturing, electroplating, coking, leather tanning, and municipal sewage.
