山东Reverse Osmosis Acid Cleaning Agent

Reverse Osmosis Acid Cleaning Agent is a specialized chemical formulation designed for cleaning reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. It features the following characteristics:

Effectively removes inorganic scales such as metal oxides and calcium carbonate from membrane surfaces, rapidly restoring membrane flux.

Offers strong cleaning performance, penetrating deep into membrane pores to break down stubborn deposits.

Highly compatible with RO membrane materials, causing no damage and thereby extending membrane service life.

Safe and environmentally friendly, with mild ingredients that minimize environmental impact.

Easy to use—simply dilute according to the recommended ratio and circulate through the system for cleaning.

Effectively reduces system operating pressure and lowers energy consumption.

Regarding pH control, the cleaning solution is typically maintained within a pH range of 2–4, ensuring optimal cleaning efficacy while preserving the integrity and stability of the membrane elements.

Product Details

Product Introduction:

Reverse osmosis acid cleaning agents are typically low-pH liquid formulations, though solid forms are also available, with a pH generally ranging from 2.5 to 3.5. These cleaners are specifically developed to remove inorganic salt scales (such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, strontium sulfate, etc.), metal oxides/hydroxides (including iron, manganese, copper, nickel, aluminum, etc.), and inorganic colloids. They are primarily used for eliminating calcium carbonate and other types of mineral scaling and are compatible with the vast majority of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, hollow fiber membranes, nanofiltration (NF), and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes available on the market. Acid cleaning agents are commonly used in conjunction with alkaline cleaning agents as part of a comprehensive membrane cleaning protocol.

Product Advantages:

Excellent descaling performance: Rapidly dissolves and removes inorganic scales such as calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate accumulated on the membrane surface, effectively restoring membrane permeability and enhancing both system productivity and water quality.

Highly targeted: Effectively removes not only inorganic scales but also mild organic fouling and metal oxide deposits from the membrane surface, ensuring stable operation of the reverse osmosis system.

Easy to use: Typically supplied in liquid form, making it convenient to handle and store. The liquid formulation mixes rapidly with water, reacts quickly, and delivers high cleaning efficiency—reducing system downtime and lowering maintenance costs. It also enables online (cleaning-in-place without shutdown) cleaning operations.

Broad material compatibility: Suitable for cleaning a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, tin, cast iron, and their combinations.

Environmentally friendly: Many acid cleaning agents are biodegradable and eco-friendly, generating minimal hazardous waste during the cleaning process, thereby helping to protect water resources and the ecological environment.

pH Adjustment: Helps regulate the system's pH, preventing or reducing the reformation of scale. During cleaning, the cleaning agent dissolves in water and adsorbs onto microcrystals of inorganic salts, increasing repulsive forces between particles, inhibiting their agglomeration, and keeping them well-dispersed—thereby creating more favorable conditions for subsequent alkaline cleaning.

Service Industries:

Standard water treatment systems: Suitable for reverse osmosis (RO) systems fouled with inorganic scales, rust, and manganese deposits, which can impair RO membrane performance. This cleaning agent effectively dissolves and removes such deposits, ensuring stable system operation.

Seawater desalination: The high salinity and abundant microorganisms in seawater can cause severe fouling and blockage of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. Acidic cleaning agents effectively remove these contaminants, ensuring efficient and stable operation of seawater desalination systems.
